1-Year Warranty
We are proud to offer a 1 year limited warranty on our waterproof mattress protector as it meets the highest standards for domestic use. This limited waterproof mattress protector warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
A. Who does this waterproof mattress protector warranty extend to?
Anyone who has purchased the waterproof mattress protector from Ecosa. Please retain a copy of your order confirmation as proof of purchase. You’ll need this to make a claim. Without it we reserve the right to reject any claim under this warranty.
B. What does the warranty cover?
The waterproof mattress protector has a 1-year warranty against defects. Ecosa will provide free returns and free replacements in this case.
Ecosa warrants the waterproof mattress protector for a period of 1-year from the time your Mattress Protector is delivered.
When the waterproof mattress protector is used normally for its intended purposes in the home.
This waterproof mattress protector warranty applies to defects due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations described in this warranty.
C. What does the warranty NOT cover?
Faults with your Ecosa waterproof mattress protector that are not a direct result of defects in workmanship or materials are not covered by this warranty. By way of example, items in the following list are not covered by the Ecosa waterproof mattress protector warranty. This is not a comprehensive list and is illustrative in nature.
Normal wear and tear as a result of washing and intended use
Comfort preference.
Physical abuse or damage to the waterproof mattress protector, including but not limited to, burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains; provided, that the defect is caused by such abuse or damage.
Damage caused by commercial use, such as in a hotel or store.
Any claim made other than for the benefit of the original purchaser.
Any waterproof mattress protector (whether manufactured by Ecosa or not) sold by a reseller who is not an authorised Ecosa sleep reseller at the time of purchase.
Any waterproof mattress protector sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the waterproof mattress protector is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by someone else.
D. When does the warranty start?
The warranty commences on the date of delivery of your waterproof mattress protector, and lasts for 1 calendar year thereafter.
E. Your Responsibilities
To make a claim under this Warranty, please send: 1) a brief written description and photo of the problem or condition that you believe constitutes a defect; 2) proof of purchase (i.e. your order number or an original dated sales receipt) to Ecosa at support@ecosa.com.au.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to request photographs, further information or descriptions, or to physically inspect the waterproof mattress protector prior to accepting a particular claim under this Warranty. You will not be responsible for shipping costs associated with the return of your waterproof mattress protector.
F. What do we do when we get all this from you?
Any evidence we receive regarding the potential warranty claim, including the product itself in some cases, will be cross-examined and evaluated by Ecosa. When we have received the evidence, we will decide at our sole reasonable discretion whether your claim is covered by the warranty or not. If we determine that your claim is valid, we will repair or replace (as applicable) and ship your repaired waterproof mattress protector or new Ecosa waterproof mattress protector back to you. Ecosa reserves the right to offer you a similar replacement if your item has been discontinued. We will only cover the shipping expenses of the first warranty claim. The waterproof mattress protector warranty period does not restart. Cover continues from your original purchase date.
G. What if I only want a refund?
This warranty does not give you the right to get a refund. The warranty only covers replacements, repairs and upgrades for successful warranty claims.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
